Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- one year production experience in manufacturing environment
- experience with Oracle or similar WMS system
- one year warehouse experience
- forklift experience preferred
- ability to lift up to 100 lbs frequently
- ability to stand, walk and use hands frequently
- ability to climb and perform physical tasks occasionally
- commitment to safety and hygiene guidelines
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- minimum of 1 year production experience in a manufacturing environment
- experience with Oracle or similar WMS system
- minimum of 1 year warehouse experience
- forklift certification preferred
Job Duties
- Receive, store, pick and distribute materials and products within the establishment
- read production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed
- transport materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas
- sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or bins according to predetermined sequence
- fill requisitions, work orders or requests for materials or other stock items
- assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets
- mark materials with identifying information
- open bales, crates and other containers
- record amounts of materials or items received or distributed
- weigh or count items for distribution within plant
- drive material handling equipment
- load and unload trailers of palletized and non-palletized products
- maintain clean and safe work area
- report defective equipment and job-related injuries
- take photos of incoming or outgoing loads for documentation
- use computer to enter records
- may climb and work at heights
- prepare and take cycle count inventory
- support continuous improvement initiatives including 5S
- perform other duties as required
