Job Requirements

High School degree or GED
Must follow safety, GMP, and PPE guidelines
Ability to operate forklift safely
Basic mechanical knowledge
Ability to differentiate between good and bad product quality
Team-oriented mindset
Willingness to work overtime
Ability to operate a calculator and add up to 100 manually
Take direction from Shift Supervisor
Work in accordance with company policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

High School degree or GED
Ability to operate a forklift proficiently and safely
Ability to differentiate between good and bad product quality and troubleshoot issues
Basic mechanical knowledge
Team-oriented mindset
Ability to operate a calculator and add up to 100 manually
Willingness to work overtime
Strong adherence to company policies and procedures
Ability to follow safety, GMP, and PPE guidelines

Job Duties

Operate all PIT equipment per OSHA specifications including daily inspections and battery/propane changes
Perform final quality inspection of all products prior to stretch wrapping
Operate stretch wrap machines within defined specifications independently
Operate and maintain label printer ensuring correct product, color, date, and time
Keep staging areas organized, clean, and per specifications throughout shifts
Relieve other Material Handler personnel during breaks and meal periods
Perform housekeeping functions necessary for business operations and plant sanitation audits
Carry out any other job assignments as instructed by management
Maintain a clean and safe work area and report unsafe conditions
Adhere to all safety policies and wear required PPE
Report major quality or food safety issues to supervisor
Perform additional duties as assigned
