Job Requirements
- At least 6 months of sit-down, reach and stand-up forklift experience
- Ability to lift up to 55 lbs occasionally from ground to waist
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs occasionally from waist to shoulder
- Ability to carry up to 55 lbs occasionally up to 5 ft
- Ability to pull a 55 lb bag from a height of 60 inches occasionally
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in a food or consumer product environment preferred
- Experience using WMS or ERP systems with RF scanning a plus
- Ability to lift up to 55 lbs occasionally from ground to waist
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs occasionally from waist to shoulder
- Ability to carry up to 55 lbs occasionally up to 5 ft
- Ability to pull a 55 lb bag from 60 inches occasionally
- Forklift experience with sit-down, reach, and stand-up forklifts of at least 6 months
Job Duties
- Load, unload, move, count/pick, stack and stage product and materials using stand-up forklift, sit-down forklift, regular reach truck and other material handling equipment
- Operate forklifts for approximately 95% of the shift and perform warehouse duties for the remaining 5%
- Cross-train and assist other departments as needed
- Accurately pull and prepare product for production or shipment, completing documentation using RH scanners
- Inspect materials during picking, shipping, and receiving to ensure accuracy and report discrepancies
- Wear required personal protective equipment including lab coat, steel-toe boots/shoes, safety glasses, bump cap, hearing protection, hair net, beard net, and nitrile gloves
- Operate equipment safely following OSHA standards and company safety programs
- Assist in maintaining and promoting warehouse safety by reporting issues and supporting safety initiatives
- Work safely with allergens such as milk, soy, wheat, egg, peanut, and tree nuts
- Handle powders safely and practice continuous safety measures
