Job Requirements
- Have at least 6-months sit-down, reach and stand-up forklift experience
- Lift up to 55 lbs occasionally from 6 inches off ground to waist
- Lift up to 30 lbs occasionally from waist to shoulder
- Carry up to 55 lbs occasionally up to 5 feet
- Be able to pull a 55 lb bag from a height of 60 inches occasionally
- Willingness to work 3rd shift from 10:00 pm to 6:30 am Monday through Friday
- Ability to wear PPE as required
- Comfortable working with allergens and powders
- Follow safety policies and procedures strictly
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Six months forklift experience with sit-down, reach and stand-up forklifts
- Experience in food or consumer product environment preferred
- Experience using WMS or ERP systems with RF scanning a plus
- Ability to lift and carry weights up to 55 lbs
- Strong attention to safety protocols
- Ability to work a night shift from 10:00 pm to 6:30 am
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Job Duties
- Load, unload, move, count/pick, stack and stage product and materials using stand-up forklift, sit-down forklift, and reach truck
- Perform about 95% forklift operation and 5% other warehouse duties including cleaning and manual labor
- Cross-train and assist other departments as needed
- Accurately pull and prepare product for production or shipment using RH scanners
- Inspect all materials during picking, shipping and receiving to ensure product accuracy and report discrepancies
- Wear personal protective equipment including lab coat, steel-toe boots/shoes, safety glasses, bump cap, hearing protection, hair net, beard net, and nitrile gloves
- Operate equipment safely according to OSHA standards and company safety procedures
- Assist in maintaining and promoting warehouse safety and report issues
- Work with known allergens such as milk, soy, wheat, egg, peanut, and tree nut
- Practice continuous safety and work with powders
