Job Requirements

  • At least 6 months sit-down, reach and stand-up forklift experience
  • Ability to lift up to 55 lbs occasionally from ground to waist
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs occasionally from waist to shoulder
  • Ability to carry up to 55 lbs occasionally up to 5 feet
  • Ability to pull a 55 lb bag from a height of 60 inches occasionally
  • Willingness to wear appropriate personal protective equipment and follow safety standards
  • Work Monday through Friday on assigned shift
  • Must be able to work in an environment with common allergens such as milk, soy, wheat, egg, peanut and tree nut

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Experience in food environment or consumer product preferred
  • Experience using WMS or ERP system with RF scanning a plus
  • Proficient in forklift operation including sit-down, reach and stand-up forklifts
  • Ability to follow safety standards and protocols
  • Strong attention to detail for inventory and material inspection
  • Capable of performing manual labor

Job Duties

  • Load, unload, move, count/pick, stack and stage product and materials using stand-up forklift, sit-down forklift, and regular reach truck
  • Perform about 95% forklift operation and 5% other warehouse duties
  • Cross-train and assist other departments as needed
  • Accurately pull and prepare product for use in production or for shipment, completing documentation correctly using RH scanners
  • Inspect all materials during picking, shipping and receiving to ensure product number accuracy and material is free of damage, reporting any discrepancies
  • Wear personal protective equipment such as lab coat, steel-toe boots/shoes, safety glasses, bump cap, hearing protection, hair net, beard net, and nitrile gloves
  • Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following work methods and OSHA standards
  • Assist in maintaining and promoting warehouse safety and report issues to management
  • Work with known allergens and powders while practicing continuous safety.
