Job Requirements

  • High school education or GED preferred
  • 1-2 years related experience preferred but open to entry level candidates
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds using proper techniques
  • Ability to use hands and feet simultaneously for repetitive movements
  • Willingness to follow safety protocols
  • Flexibility to perform diverse warehouse duties
  • Ability to operate material handling equipment safely when applicable

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • 1-2 years of warehouse or material handling experience preferred
  • OSHA forklift and HAZMAT certification a plus
  • Experience with material handling equipment such as reach trucks and order pickers a plus
  • Ability to safely lift up to 75 pounds
  • Strong attention to safety practices
  • Ability to follow directions accurately
  • Ability to perform repetitive hand and foot movements
  • Good communication skills
  • Teamwork-oriented mindset

Job Duties

  • Unload trucks, trailers, containers of freight while checking for damage and accuracy
  • Report shortages, damages, and mis-shipments on appropriate forms
  • Move inbound shipments safely to storage locations
  • Ensure correct product number, quantity, and type are picked for orders
  • Transport orders to shipping locations using material handling equipment
  • Label, stencil, tag, mark, band, bundle, wrap, over-pack, and palletize orders as required
  • Compare quantity, labeling, and address of outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy
  • Maintain equipment in clean and orderly fashion and operate safely
  • Keep accurate records and assist with physical inventory and cycle counts
  • Repack or re-box cases, repair and consolidate damaged goods, operate shrink-wrap machine, charge forklift battery
  • Clean railcars, trailers, truck docks, and bays as requested
  • Perform other duties as assigned
