Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • 1 plus years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
  • 1 plus years of forklifting experience
  • US citizen or Green Card Holder due to program security clearance requirements or SSA requirements

  • 1 plus years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
  • 1 plus years of forklifting experience
  • Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder due to program security clearance requirements or SSA requirements
  • GKN experience preferred
  • Knowledge of LEAN manufacturing preferred
  • Understanding of 5s methodology preferred
  • Experience in inventory management preferred
  • Familiarity with transport management preferred
  • Experience with inbound operations preferred
  • Experience with outbound operations preferred

Job Duties

  • Follow standard work for material handling including receiving, shipping, warehousing
  • Perform all activities in accordance with safety and quality rules
  • Use adequate equipment like forklift, tow train, electric pallet jack to move material
  • Record movements of material in the transactional records systems such as receipt and booking
  • Make proposals to improve safety, quality, efficiency
  • Manage inbound material flow and monitor inbound delivery performance
  • Receive, inspect and store inbound deliveries
  • Track product availability, pick, pack and ship product for delivery
  • Prepare package and shipment, manage shipping, carriers and fleets
  • Authorize and process returns
  • Perform reverse logistics and salvage activities
  • Manage and process warranty claims
  • Locate stock and prepare stock for movement
  • Maintain inventory status
  • Perform physical inventory procedures
