Job Requirements
- High school or GED degree
- one to three months related experience or training
- ability to read and comprehend simple instructions
- ability to write simple correspondence
- ability to effectively present information to others
- ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide with 10s and 100s
- ability to perform mathematical operations using American money and weight
- ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions
- ability to use software for move management, timekeeping, and HRIS
- ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- physical ability to stand, walk, sit, lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and perform repetitive hand and foot movements
- ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments
- manual dexterity and vision to handle items and observe details

Job Duties
- Pick and pack order picking and assembly of products in less than full case lots
- light assembly of mechanical or electrical component parts using hand tools
- record storage
- repack or re-box cases per customer instructions
- repair and recoup damaged goods
- count product and compare to manifest
- check shipments for damage, infestation, and production codes
- report shortages and damages
- sign for inbound shipments
- unload inbound shipments safely
- move product to storage
- stack and store merchandise efficiently
- ensure correct product quantity and type is picked
- compare labeling and address with orders
- transport orders to shipping locations
- stencil, tag, or mark orders
- perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking
- accept signatures for outbound shipments
- move product into trailers, rail cars, or containers
- assist in physical inventories and cycle counts
- ensure proper stock rotation
- operate shrink-wrap machine
- charge forklift batteries and gas tanks
- repair pallets
- clean railcars, trailers, and truck bays
- maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area
