Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • valid driver’s license required to get certified to drive Hyster forklift
  • ability to lift and maneuver material weighing up to 50 lbs
  • availability to work overtime on short notice
  • ability to follow safety protocols
  • physical stamina for manual labor
  • good communication skills

Job Duties

  • Lift and maneuver material weighing up to 50 lbs with assistance for heavier items
  • load material for all sawyers including bead and track
  • put away all boxes such as bead, track, setups, SDL, patio boxes
  • assist department leads and other material handlers as needed
  • check quality of vinyl and other materials
  • empty garbage including dumpsters, cardboard, recycle daily
  • smash garbage dumpsters as needed daily
  • take scrap bags, battens, and vinyl racks outside daily
  • take empty boxes out daily
  • unload vinyl trucks if necessary
  • reload scrap bags and returns onto trucks if necessary
  • unload glass trucks if necessary
  • unload any other material in receiving area if necessary including signing packing slips
  • put vinyl away daily and rotate inventory as needed
  • keep work area clean including outside
  • assist other material handlers in keeping their work area clean
  • put material away on inventory rack
  • maintain vinyl racks and storage area
  • ship material via UPS and Fed-Ex if necessary
  • perform cycle counts as needed
  • participate in all mandatory physical inventories
  • work overtime on short notice when required
