Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • minimum of 2 years' experience of general warehouse knowledge
  • excellent customer service skills
  • excellent verbal and written communication
  • computer skills including Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, Outlook
  • must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds
  • forklift certification preferred
  • ability to work under minimal supervision
  • ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and managers

Job Qualifications

  • knowledge of Warehouse Oracle Database is a plus
  • forklift certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Process all aspects of materials using warehouse inventory software
  • label and ship orders according to established procedures for each customer
  • accurately pick and weigh all shipments
  • inspect freight and follow appropriate reporting procedures
  • assist with inventory and cycle counts
  • rotate and re-stock shelves according to inventory procedures
  • verify all inbound and outbound materials
  • provide prompt and accurate customer service
  • arrange and maintain filing and recording systems
  • document monthly activities for period end reporting
  • safely load and unload trailers by utilizing equipment such as hand trucks, pallet jacks and forklifts
  • shrink wrap freight pallets
  • maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • other duties as assigned
