Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum one year of forklift operation experience
- ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly
- ability to stand for 8 to 10 hours per day
- willingness to work in a loud, fast-paced manufacturing environment
- ability to bend, twist, squat and stand repeatedly
- effective English communication skills
- ability to pass background check
- ability to pass drug screening
Job Qualifications

- proven experience operating forklifts in a manufacturing or warehouse setting
- ability to follow safety protocols and OSHA regulations

- capability to read and understand production schedules
- ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds repeatedly

- competency in using computers and plant systems

Job Duties
- Operate clamp truck and forklift equipment to company standards
- receive stock and other raw materials by company procedures
- unload and load trucks as necessary
- operate conveyor line as needed
- assist shipping personnel and keep warehouse organized
- work safely and report unsafe conditions immediately
- report any property damage occurred while on the lift regardless of insignificance
- maintain a clean work area by keeping docks picked up, aisle ways clean and swept, and empty trash as required
- keep all equipment lines full to ensure machines do not wait on product
- read and understand production schedules and keep supervisor informed in advance of issues
- work efficiently handling bales only once to minimize forklift damage
- operate and maintain forklift equipment as required
- perform daily forklift inspection as mandated by OSHA
- communicate all relevant information to oncoming shift prior to leaving
- follow lockout/tagout procedures for loading and unloading trailers
- process, tag, and store incoming raw materials as required
- inspect all incoming and outgoing product and supplies and document for defects
- inventory and organize finished products
- perform all assigned documentation tasks such as load verification forms
- shred waste materials, properly weigh and identify loads
- operate plant PCs and appropriate systems to complete assigned tasks
- enter maintenance work requests for safety, scheduled, and unscheduled tasks
- rework any bales or pallets of finished goods that have been spilled or are potentially unsafe
- work with other forklift drivers as a team and communicate accordingly
- follow plant procedures on tracking waste bales and place quarantined products into quarantine area
- perform other tasks as assigned
