Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree
  • 2- 5 years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • ability to operate forklifts and industrial vehicles safely
  • capacity to follow detailed manufacturing flow instructions
  • capability to maintain and update inventory and material identification accurately
  • willingness to work first shift hours
  • compliance with company safety and quality standards

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree
  • 2- 5 years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • knowledge of inventory control
  • experience with work orders
  • strong understanding of manufacturing work flow
  • experience driving forklifts

Job Duties

  • Unload materials from department manufacturing areas and place in specified plant locations
  • deliver materials to point of use locations per manufacturing flow instructions
  • support deployment and sustainment of Kanban systems
  • issue parts to work orders according to pick lists
  • receive and store parts from work orders and purchase orders to stock
  • retrieve and transport materials for loading and unloading to trucks and/or departments as required
  • move parts including performing weight counts and updating material identification tags
  • assist in maintaining inventory control such as performing cycle counts and physical inventory
  • drive and maintain preventative maintenance on forklifts, vehicles, and industrial tuggers
  • follow all Senior policies and procedures
  • maintain an organized, clean and safe work area using safety standards and expectations
