Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree
- 2- 5 years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- ability to operate forklifts and industrial vehicles safely
- capacity to follow detailed manufacturing flow instructions
- capability to maintain and update inventory and material identification accurately
- willingness to work first shift hours
- compliance with company safety and quality standards
Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree
- 2- 5 years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- knowledge of inventory control
- experience with work orders
- strong understanding of manufacturing work flow
- experience driving forklifts
Job Duties
- Unload materials from department manufacturing areas and place in specified plant locations
- deliver materials to point of use locations per manufacturing flow instructions
- support deployment and sustainment of Kanban systems
- issue parts to work orders according to pick lists
- receive and store parts from work orders and purchase orders to stock
- retrieve and transport materials for loading and unloading to trucks and/or departments as required
- move parts including performing weight counts and updating material identification tags
- assist in maintaining inventory control such as performing cycle counts and physical inventory
- drive and maintain preventative maintenance on forklifts, vehicles, and industrial tuggers
- follow all Senior policies and procedures
- maintain an organized, clean and safe work area using safety standards and expectations
