Job Requirements
- High school education or GED preferred
- OSHA forklift certification a plus
- HAZMAT certification a plus
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds using proper techniques
- Must be able to follow directions with emphasis on safety
- Must handle stress caused by tight scheduling deadlines
- Must be able to shift priorities easily
- Must be able to use hands and feet simultaneously and repeatedly
- Must have responsible work habits
- Must be familiar with warehouse systems
- Must be available to work any shift
- Must have reach truck forklift experience

Job Duties
- Unload trucks, trailers, containers of freight, counting products, compare to manifest to check all shipments for damage, infestation, or production code dates
- Report shortages, damages, and mis-shipments on appropriate forms
- Safely move inbound shipments to storage locations and efficiently stack merchandise
- Ensure correct product number, quantity, and type of product are picked
- Transport orders to shipping locations using material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
- Label, stencil, tag, mark orders, band, bundle, wrap, over-pack, and palletize as required
- Compare quantity, labeling, and address with order for outbound shipments and assign signatures as necessary
- Move products, cartons, and pallets into trailers, rail cars or containers efficiently
- Maintain equipment in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion
- Operate equipment safely and comply with company standards and OSHA requirements
- Keep accurate inventory records and assist in physical inventories and cycle counts
- Ensure proper stock rotation
- Repack or re-box cases per customer instructions
- Repair and consolidate damaged goods as required
- Operate shrink-wrap machine
- Charge forklift battery and manage pallets
- Clean railcars, trailers, and truck docks as requested
- Perform other duties as assigned
