Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • three years experience in warehouse operations
  • forklift license
  • proficiency in SAP applications
  • ability to perform physical tasks including prolonged standing and bending
  • ability to work in adverse environmental conditions such as dust, noise, and heavy machinery
  • willingness to work overtime and on a 7-day continuous operation schedule
  • good verbal and written communication skills
  • strong safety awareness
  • ability to train and lead team members
  • commitment to company core values and continuous improvement initiatives

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • forklift license
  • minimum three years of relevant warehouse experience
  • proficiency with SAP warehouse applications
  • strong verbal and written communication skills
  • leadership and training abilities
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation policies
  • familiarity with LEAN, 5S, and Six Sigma continuous improvement programs
  • ability to handle hazardous materials safely
  • ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment

Job Duties

  • Safely operate forklifts, squeeze box and clamp truck, resin handling system and the off-loading of resin cars, pallet inverter, auto palletizer, and stretch wrap machines
  • complete daily preventative maintenance checklist and perform maintenance such as changing propane/batteries
  • proficiently manage warehouse SAP applications and documentation procedures for material movement
  • maintain accurate and orderly inventory by properly warehousing all materials
  • assign manpower based on production needs
  • immediately report incidents involving injury, product, or property damage and complete initial written incident reports
  • provide training for shift team members and ensure training is current
  • assess and troubleshoot warehouse issues during shifts and seek resources for resolution
  • oversee outbound shipments in absence of Traffic Coordinator
  • ensure all team members follow safety protocols and conduct headcounts during emergencies
  • ensure compliance with all facility food safety, food defense, and quality policies including GMPs and sanitation
  • promote cleanliness and orderliness supporting AIB/5S standards
  • support company mission, core values and continuous improvement programs including LEAN, 5S, and Six Sigma
  • stop any process not meeting food safety or quality requirements
  • handle hazardous and chemical waste according to company procedures and regulatory standards
  • perform all other assigned duties
  • strive to meet or exceed customer requirements and expectations
