Job Requirements
- Stand up forklift operation experience
- use of scanner
- picking/pulling parts for shipping or assembly
- demonstrated loyalty and growth with previous employers
- able to work occasional overtime including weekends and evenings
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 3-5 years relevant material handling experience
- previous related material handling and forklift experience
- forklift certified
- familiarity with ERP systems
- strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
- keen attention to detail
- good communication and interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- Unload incoming shipments
- perform verification of bill of lading and packing list, unpack incoming shipments
- engage with purchasing and other departments to resolve packing list discrepancies
- conduct inspections and provide damaged goods with a damage identification, as needed
- accurately record materials received on the appropriate purchase orders and distribute copies to the appropriate personnel
- ensure system (ERP) receipt of materials within 24 hours
- verify the accuracy of outbound shipments
- follow all warehouse processes when performing work, while maintaining good housekeeping in all assigned work areas
- abide by all Flowserve safety requirements
- utilize basic computer skills, including effectively navigating Microsoft Office
- perform physical activities regularly including standing, walking, kneeling, twisting, and bending
- regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally buddy lift and/or move more than 100 pounds
- maintain specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- multitask and work in a production environment with multiple product changeovers
- learn and cross train as needed across different functions
- communicate clearly and understand logistics terminology
- perform other duties as assigned
