Job Requirements
- Ability to successfully complete training and obtain certification
- Solid math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Capacity to lift and move boxes or equipment up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch and climb stairs during shift
- Willingness to work overtime during week or weekends
- Comfortable working in noisy, dusty environments and at times in narrow aisles or high places
- Ability to use hands and fingers and reach overhead repeatedly
- Basic English reading and comprehension skills
- Ability to recognize safety hazards and respond appropriately
- Compliance with safety guidelines and procedures
Job Qualifications
- Self-motivated individual aged 18 or older
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not required
- One or more years of related experience or equivalent education
- Basic knowledge of RF scanners
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to follow instructions quickly, safely and accurately
- Effective communication skills in English
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Flexibility in daily task assignments
Job Duties
- Accurately picking/packing orders using established practices
- Restocking picking bins with product from reserve storage
- Accurately sorting, counting, and receiving all merchandise
- Safely moving product to and from pallet racks with powered material handling equipment
- Safely working with conveyors to build pallets of cartons for shipment
- Loading/unloading trucks
- Organizing warehouse storage space
- Using a scanner to direct work (pick, pack, receive, move)
- Consistently lifting, bending, standing, walking, stooping and kneeling
- Working overtime as needed based on business requirements
