Job Requirements
- Meet all Cleveland Clinic insurance requirements
- valid driver's license to drive box trucks
- require full range of body motion including handling and lifting items up to 50 pounds
- ability to push a fully loaded cart weighing up to 800 pounds and pull a 2500-pound pallet using manual pallet jack
- require standing and walking for extensive periods
- physical ability to lift and carry items
- follow standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required
Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- one year of materials management or related experience preferred
- inventory knowledge preferred
- basic computer skills preferred
- valid driver’s license to drive box trucks
- meet all Cleveland Clinic insurance requirements
Job Duties
- Provide support to the hospital supervisor on project work
- collaborate with management to improve daily activities
- support areas that care for patients with higher level of acuity and volume
- receive products from shipping and receiving area, unpack and inspect items for damage, verify accuracy of shipment and input information in the warehouse management system
- receive, sort, put away, pick and deliver supplies, mail, patient records and other items as required
- rotate stock and check for outdates
- handle returns by completing technical documentation and other required communication
