Job Requirements

  • Meet all Cleveland Clinic insurance requirements
  • valid driver's license to drive box trucks
  • require full range of body motion including handling and lifting items up to 50 pounds
  • ability to push a fully loaded cart weighing up to 800 pounds and pull a 2500-pound pallet using manual pallet jack
  • require standing and walking for extensive periods
  • physical ability to lift and carry items
  • follow standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • one year of materials management or related experience preferred
  • inventory knowledge preferred
  • basic computer skills preferred
  • valid driver’s license to drive box trucks
  • meet all Cleveland Clinic insurance requirements

Job Duties

  • Provide support to the hospital supervisor on project work
  • collaborate with management to improve daily activities
  • support areas that care for patients with higher level of acuity and volume
  • receive products from shipping and receiving area, unpack and inspect items for damage, verify accuracy of shipment and input information in the warehouse management system
  • receive, sort, put away, pick and deliver supplies, mail, patient records and other items as required
  • rotate stock and check for outdates
  • handle returns by completing technical documentation and other required communication
