Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • at least six months of forklift operation experience including Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) or Reach Truck
  • ability to lift and carry cases up to 35 pounds
  • must be able to perform physical labor for extended periods
  • availability to work first shift Monday through Friday
  • willingness to follow company safety standards and procedures
  • basic communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • six months warehouse experience preferred
  • six months forklift operation experience preferred including Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) forklift or Reach Truck
  • ability to operate powered equipment safely
  • strong attention to detail
  • good physical stamina and fitness
  • ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • commitment to safety protocols

Job Duties

  • Case-picking by hand up to 35lbs approximately 60 percent of the day
  • operating material handling equipment including Electric Pallet Jack and Reach Truck approximately 40 percent
  • physically loading product onto equipment, pallets or totes more than 20 percent of shift
  • put-away and picking product for shipment or stock
  • inspect and verify product quantity, quality, labeling, and address to ensure shipments are complete and accurate
  • change equipment battery or LP tank and monitor power source
  • report discrepancies such as non-available products and overages, shortages, and damages
  • maintain facility and equipment cleanliness and orderliness
  • conduct daily inspection of equipment
  • assist in physical inventories
