Job Duties
- Operate all PIT equipment per OSHA specifications, including daily inspections, changing of batteries/propane tank
- Perform final quality inspection of all products produced, including correct packaging, labels, and seals prior to placement on stretch wrapper
- Operate all stretch wrap machines within defined specifications independently
- Operate and maintain label printer ensuring correct product, color, date, time, and label availability
- Ensure staging areas are organized, clean, and per specifications throughout shift
- Relieve other Material Handler personnel during breaks and meal periods
- Perform all housekeeping functions necessary to business operations including daily shift requirements and plant sanitation audits
- Perform any additional job assignments as instructed by management
- Maintain a clean and safe work area and report unsafe conditions to supervisor
- Adhere to all safety policies including wearing required PPE and setting an example of model safety behavior
- Report any major quality or food safety issues to supervisor
- Perform additional duties as assigned
