Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Six months warehouse experience preferred
  • Six months forklift operation experience preferred
  • Ability to operate stand up reach truck, sitdown forklift, center rider
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs safely
  • Available to work first shift Wednesday through Saturday from 4am to 2:30pm
  • Ability to perform physical labor and operate material handling equipment safely

  • Ability to operate stand up reach truck, sitdown forklift, center rider

Job Duties

  • Case-picking by hand up to 50 lbs approximately 60 percent of the day
  • Operating material handling equipment including Electric Pallet Jack, Sit Down Forklift, and Reach Truck approximately 40 percent of the day
  • Physically load product onto equipment, pallets or totes more than 20 percent of specified shift
  • Put-away and pick product for shipment or stock ensuring exact number and type of products are checked and loaded correctly
  • Compare the quantity, quality, labeling, and address with the customer ordering to ensure shipments are complete and correct
  • Change equipment battery or LP tank and monitor power source as necessary
  • Verify and report discrepancies such as non-available products and over shipment and damage
  • Maintain the facility and equipment in a neat, clean, orderly fashion
  • Complete daily inspections of equipment
  • Assist in physical inventories
