Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior sit-down forklift experience in a manufacturing environment is highly desired
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Excellent time management skills with a focus on deadlines
  • Strong computer skills: WMS, MS Office, RF Guns
  • Familiarity with standard practices in the Shipping/Receiving environment is necessary
  • Ability to work flexible schedules
  • Detail-oriented, ability to balance speed with accuracy
  • Always on time and great attendance record
  • Team player

Job Duties

  • Loading, unloading, shipping, and receiving of warehouse items
  • Transporting materials to different locations within the facility
  • Schedule inbound delivery trucks for cartons and pallets receipts as well as bales
  • Receives products from outside vendors into the system
  • Receives credit-return material and supplies from production by verifying materials and supplies code, lot number, and quantity, and placing materials in stock
  • Prepares customer shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, wrapping, loading, and securing products
  • Release orders from the computer system after carrier pick-up
  • Maintain material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections and making operator repairs
  • Labeling orders/repairing damaged cartons
  • Inventory cycle counts
  • Keep inventory and warehouse clean
  • Interact with drivers daily
  • Follow safety/company regulations on forklift/equipment
  • Maintain material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections and conducting operator maintenance
  • Identify issues (overruns, wrong item numbers at location, scheduling conflicts, etc.) to the supervisor
  • Facilitate year-end paper audit
  • Back up the Pick and Pack department and the Receiving department as needed
  • Other duties as directed by management
