Job Requirements

  • High school education or GED preferred
  • 1 to 2 years of warehouse or material handling experience preferred but open to entry level candidates
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds using proper techniques
  • Ability to perform repetitive hand and foot movements
  • Willingness to follow safety protocols and OSHA guidelines
  • Ability to operate warehouse material handling equipment safely
  • Must be reliable and able to work in an industrial warehouse environment
  • Effective communication skills for reporting and documentation
  • Flexibility to perform a wide range of warehousing duties

Job Qualifications

  • High school education or GED preferred
  • Entry level 1 to 2 years experience or eagerness to start a career in warehouse industry
  • OSHA Forklift and HAZMAT certification is a plus
  • Warehouse distribution experience is a plus
  • Experience operating material handling equipment such as reach trucks and order pickers is a plus
  • Ability to use proper lifting techniques to lift up to 75 pounds
  • Capability to use hands and feet simultaneously for repetitive movements
  • Attention to safety and ability to follow directions
  • Ability to maintain clean and orderly equipment and work environment

Job Duties

  • Unload trucks trailers and containers of freight count products and compare the manifest to check all shipments for damage infestation or production code dates
  • Report shortages damages and mis shipments on appropriate forms and sign for inbound shipments when necessary
  • Store inbound shipments safely in designated locations and efficiently stack store merchandise
  • Ensure correct product number quantity and type of product are selected for order picking
  • Transport orders to shipping locations using material handling equipment like forklifts cherry pickers or pallet jacks
  • Label stencil tag mark band bundle wrap over pack and palletize orders as required
  • Compare quantity labeling and address with order for outbound shipments and ensure completeness
  • Move products cartons or pallets into trailers rail cars or containers efficiently
  • Maintain equipment in a neat clean and orderly fashion and operate safely and efficiently in compliance with company standards and OSHA requirements
  • Keep accurate inventory records assist in physical inventory and cycle counts and ensure proper stock rotation
  • Repack or re-box cases repair and consolidate damaged goods operate shrink wrap machine and perform other duties as assigned
