Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Able to stand for 8-10 hours a day and perform physical tasks with or without accommodation
  • Must have high standards of performance and take responsibility for actions
  • Demonstrate honesty and integrity in all work aspects
  • Ability to resolve conflicts constructively and maintain positive relationships
  • Ability to focus on benefits of change and approach change constructively
  • Must be punctual and ensure coverage when absent

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • One month related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Previous material handling work experience preferred
  • Previous forklift driving experience preferred
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to use basic computer skills
  • Ability to work up to 12 hours per day including weekends

Job Duties

  • Observe and comply with all safety, environmental, regulatory, and statutory requirements
  • Participate in needs analysis and required training programs
  • Support company continuous improvement and independent auditing activities
  • Stop work and contain suspect or defective materials to prevent further processing
  • Operate industrial trucks by moving levers and pressing pedals to control lifting devices
  • Position forks or lifting devices under, over, or around loads and transport materials to designated areas
  • Load and unload materials onto or off pallets, skids, or lifting devices
