Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience operating industrial equipment
  • Ability to perform physical labor including lifting and moving materials
  • Understanding of workplace safety standards
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday from 4:00 pm to 12:30 am
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Ability to inspect and maintain equipment
  • Good communication skills
  • Team player attitude

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience operating industrial equipment preferred
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety standards
  • Ability to operate gasoline-, liquefied gas-, or electric-powered industrial equipment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Basic record-keeping skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and safety protocols

Job Duties

  • Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using powered industrial equipment
  • Maintain equipment and materials in a neat, clean and orderly fashion
  • Inspect assigned equipment daily
  • Operate all equipment safely and efficiently following prescribed work methods and OSHA standards
  • Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations
  • Stack and store products efficiently in appropriate areas
  • Pull and prepare products for shipment ensuring accuracy in type and quantity
  • Move products from staging or storage areas into rail cars, trailers, or containers
  • Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are free of damage and accurate
  • Report quality variances
  • Keep records and reports to maintain tight inventory control and security
  • Assist in physical inventories
  • Ensure proper stock rotation
  • Follow customer requirements and instructions for loading and unloading
  • Coordinate with Customer Service, Transportation, and Maintenance departments
  • Perform good housekeeping and clean as you go
  • Conduct operations promoting safety and report unsafe conditions
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance
  • Observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement
  • Perform other duties as assigned
