Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must pass a background check
- Must pass requirements mandated by the United States Post Office including verifiable 5-year work history
- Must have verifiable 3 years United States residence
- No pending or current felonies less than 10 years old
- Ability to lift push and pull up to 70 pounds regularly
- Willingness to work in a warehouse environment
- Ability to work in hot or cold environments
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to follow safety protocols
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Strong physical stamina and endurance
- Effective communication skills
- Experience in material handling or related field preferred
- Familiarity with USPS mail handling procedures preferred
Job Duties
- Lift sort and scan USPS mail containers and airline cans
- Load and unload USPS mail containers and airline cans
- Work assigned schedules including weekends and holidays
- Follow all safety rules and regulations established via postings or verbal communication from supervisor
- Load and unload US mail from and into airline containers
- Load and unload trucks
- Stand for extended periods
