Job Requirements
- high school diploma or education equivalent
- 1 year of work experience in an industrial environment
- ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods
- ability to work in hot and cold conditions
- ability to work in loud and noisy environments
- ability to climb stairs, catwalks, and other equipment
- ability to operate forklift
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or education equivalent
- 1 year of work experience in an industrial environment
- 3 or more years of operation and maintenance of forklift preferred
- working knowledge of proper hazardous waste management preferred
- experience using jd edwards, as900, or similar warehouse or erp system preferred
Job Duties
- follow all 5s standards and job safety practices and policies including but not limited to food safety
- personal protective equipment
- emergency procedures
- operate forklift and coordinate products including raw materials
- scrap
- finished goods
- packaging materials
- chemicals
- and other supplies
- effectively communicate with vendors
- delivery drivers
- and customers
- inspect aluminium for proper quality standards and customer specifications
- build positive relationships across designated team by effectively collaborating and communicating and upholding ethical integrity
