Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • associate degree, applicable certification, and/or military veteran status preferred
  • related warehouse and inventory control experience in pharmaceutical or FDA regulated environment preferred
  • basic understanding of material handling, warehousing and inventory control required
  • forklift experience in warehouse environment preferred
  • proactive and results oriented with strong attention to detail
  • self-starter with good judgment
  • ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines
  • strong interpersonal skills for teamwork
  • ability to read, write and speak English
  • computer literacy with MS Office proficiency
  • experience with SAP inventory control preferred
  • flexible working hours to support 24 hour, 7 day plant operation

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • related warehouse and inventory control experience in pharmaceutical, GMP, or FDA regulated environment preferred
  • basic understanding of material handling, warehousing and inventory control
  • forklift experience (stand up or sit down) preferred
  • strong attention to detail and proactive work ethic
  • ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • proficiency in English
  • computer literacy with MS Office skills
  • specific experience with SAP inventory control preferred
  • flexibility with working hours to accommodate 24/7 plant operations

Job Duties

  • Load and unload trucks and trailers and complete receiving documentation and entries into the SAP system
  • stack and load pallets and transport material by operating various types of material handling equipment such as forklifts and electric pallet jacks
  • sort and stock materials, perform product identification and damage inspection
  • maintain accurate and complete inventory control of materials stored in main and satellite warehouses
  • conduct scheduled cycle counts and physical inventories
  • research, reconcile and correct inventory discrepancies
  • deliver materials internally to appropriate facility locations
  • handle hazardous, biohazardous, and pathological waste and used medical equipment according to established procedures and safety policies
  • perform routine housekeeping duties in all warehouses and work areas complying with GMP requirements
  • maintain accurate logs such as housekeeping log and forklift checklist per departmental procedures
  • strictly adhere to FDA regulations and emphasize thorough documentation
  • follow departmental corporate safety policies
