Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
  • Ability to operate forklifts and machinery
  • Must pass and maintain current HAZMAT Dangerous Goods Handling certification
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% including overnight
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Able to communicate properly between departments
  • Availability to work flexible schedules supporting 24-hour operations
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must work in moderate noise and outdoor conditions

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license with a clean record
  • Able to operate forklifts and other machinery
  • Completion of HAZMAT Dangerous Goods Handling course and maintain current certification
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and Word
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with multiple departments
  • Ability to read and write simple correspondence
  • Experience in warehouse, parts, or supply chain environments preferred
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently
  • Capable of working flexible schedules including 24-hour operations
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks in a moderately noisy environment

Job Duties

  • Accurately issue and deliver parts and materials to various departments
  • Ensure timely location and acquisition of parts/materials for maintenance using computer tracking systems
  • Handle aircraft parts properly during transactions, shipping, and receiving to avoid damage and delays
  • Perform accurate and timely computer system transactions including parts/materials issue and returns, warehouse transfers, and bin transfers
  • Receive and inspect parts and materials and log information into the computer system
  • Ensure parts/materials are properly stored, identified, and comply with shelf life programs
  • Expedite past-due repair and purchase orders for critical spare requirements
  • Maintain awareness of suspected unapproved parts (SUP) to prevent inventory contamination
  • Perform shipping functions for hazardous and non-hazardous materials including air transport shipments
  • Review computer system for open requisitions to verify and cancel outdated requests
  • Conduct inventory cycle counts and report discrepancies
  • Collaborate with different departments to support maintenance tasks
  • Conduct monthly self-audits covering shelf life, hazardous shipping files, and FAA audits
  • Maintain tooling necessary for maintenance tasks
  • Keep the stockroom secure, clean, and orderly in compliance with company and FAA policies
  • Ensure compliance with hazardous materials and environmental regulations
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required
