Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- relevant experience in material handling or warehouse operations
- ability to safely operate forklifts and other permitted machinery
- physical ability to perform manual handling tasks
- knowledge of safety and health regulations
- ability to work second shift hours from Monday to Thursday 1:30 PM-9:30 PM and Friday 1:30 PM-midnight
- commitment to maintaining clean and safe work environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in material handling or warehouse operations
- ability to operate forklifts and other machinery requiring permits
- knowledge of inventory and stock management procedures
- good physical stamina and manual dexterity
- understanding of workplace safety rules and regulations
- ability to operate handling equipment such as lift table, hand truck, cages, hoists, straps
Job Duties
- Load and unload goods and products
- load packages and move them to the shipping, storage or production area
- store products or goods by validity date and storage conditions
- conduct an inventory
- identify the characteristics of goods
- operate machinery requiring a permit such as forklift truck, trailer tugs, gantry cranes
- check the operating and safety status of the production facilities and equipment
- list and report any faults detected to the line manager
- keep working areas clean and tidy, and take care of the equipment provided
