Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • relevant experience in material handling or warehouse operations
  • ability to safely operate forklifts and other permitted machinery
  • physical ability to perform manual handling tasks
  • knowledge of safety and health regulations
  • ability to work second shift hours from Monday to Thursday 1:30 PM-9:30 PM and Friday 1:30 PM-midnight
  • commitment to maintaining clean and safe work environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in material handling or warehouse operations
  • ability to operate forklifts and other machinery requiring permits
  • knowledge of inventory and stock management procedures
  • good physical stamina and manual dexterity
  • understanding of workplace safety rules and regulations
  • ability to operate handling equipment such as lift table, hand truck, cages, hoists, straps

Job Duties

  • Load and unload goods and products
  • load packages and move them to the shipping, storage or production area
  • store products or goods by validity date and storage conditions
  • conduct an inventory
  • identify the characteristics of goods
  • operate machinery requiring a permit such as forklift truck, trailer tugs, gantry cranes
  • check the operating and safety status of the production facilities and equipment
  • list and report any faults detected to the line manager
  • keep working areas clean and tidy, and take care of the equipment provided
