Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in inventory control or materials handling preferred
- ability to use MS Dynamics or similar inventory management system
- valid powered lift truck license
- physical ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds
- strong organizational and communication skills
- ability to follow security protocols and procedures
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Qualifications
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple assignments
- understanding of inventory tracking methods and accurate transaction completion
- ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining supplies and records
- working knowledge of personal computers and software including MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
- ability to operate a pallet jack
- ability and license to operate a powered lift truck
- ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 50 pounds occasionally
Job Duties
- Receives supplies, raw materials, customer inventory, or work-in-process at the receiving docks and moves them to proper storage locations
- maintains detailed records of receipt and shipments using MS Dynamics system
- controls material movements within and between production and storage areas following security requirements
- manages inventory reporting and controls materials entering and exiting the vault, containment cage, and shipping cage
- assists in preparing items for shipment and supports destruction processes as needed
- researches receipt or shipment issues and produces verification records
- executes weekly, monthly, and annual cycle counts
- schedules transportation for incoming and outgoing deliveries
- backs up the Receiving and Inventory Management Coordinator and performs other production assignments as directed by management
