Job Requirements

  • Experience operating forklifts or tow trains preferred
  • Ability to follow safety and quality procedures consistently
  • Capacity to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Basic computer skills for records management

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Job Duties

  • Follow standard work for material handling including receiving, shipping, warehousing
  • Perform all activities in accordance with safety and quality rules
  • Use adequate equipment such as forklift and tow train to move material
  • Record movements of material in transactional records systems including receipt and booking
  • Make proposals to improve safety, quality, efficiency
  • Manage inbound material flow
  • Monitor inbound delivery performance
  • Receive, inspect, and store inbound deliveries
  • Track product availability
  • Pick, pack, and ship product for delivery
  • Prepare package and shipment
  • Manage shipping, carriers, and fleets
  • Authorize and process returns
  • Perform reverse logistics
  • Perform salvage activities
  • Manage and process warranty claims
  • Locate stock
  • Prepare stock for movement
  • Physically move stock
  • Maintain inventory status
  • Perform physical inventory procedures
