Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds for extended periods
- good communication and customer service skills
- ability to follow safety policies and procedures
- ability to operate assigned equipment safely

- drug and alcohol screening clearance
- ability to operate a phone and maintain communication

Job Duties
- Provide exemplary customer service to GIREs donors, customers, clients and staff
- accept and sort donations into appropriate bins
- responsible for maintaining daily donor counts
- administer receipts to GIRE donors
- adhere to all safety policies and procedures including monthly safety meetings
- notify supervisor when supplies or equipment repair is needed
- daily call ins to CDC Manager or CDC MH 2 at CDC sites
- keep CDC assigned cell phone charged and on during business hours
- complete all required daily inspection logs in warehouse environment
- assist with loading and unloading GIRE trucks
- removal of trash as needed
- support GIRE Outlet Center by filling and rotating tables with donations for sales floor and recycling into salvage streams
- operate heavy machinery such as tipper, compactor and baler
- process eWaste and hazardous materials appropriately
- potential to obtain GIRE white vest beginner forklift certification for qualifying individuals
