Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in military transportation or logistics
  • Familiarity with hazardous materials compliance
  • Ability to operate a 10K forklift
  • Completion of the AMO training course
  • Proficient in logistics tracking software
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge of hazardous materials handling and regulations
  • Proficiency in using computer systems such as ICODES, GDDS, and SMS
  • Ability to operate a forklift and perform PMCS
  • Completion of the Air Mobility Operations Course
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Coordinate and control the movement of military personnel and cargo through staged departure points
  • Complete aircraft load plans using the Integrated Computerized Deployment System (ICODES)
  • Review unit Air Load Plans with Diplomatic Clearance for HAZMAT to ensure compliance with weight limits authorized by Air Mobility Command and FORSCOM
  • Coordinate processing and loading of personnel and cargo based on deployment plans and aircraft schedules
  • Attend briefings with representatives of the Installation Transportation Office, Mobility Control Center, Ground Liaison Office, and other related offices
  • Perform cargo and passenger dispatch duties
  • Maintain cargo aircraft status board and other tracking systems
  • Receive air mission set-ups and relay information on cargo and passenger processing and movements to the Shift Leader
  • Monitor movement timetables and complete Wheels Up/Down Report to FORSCOM
  • Utilize Global Decision Support System (GDDS) and Single Mobility System (SMS) for mission tracking
  • Coordinate and provide deployment and redeployment information to relevant offices and deploying units
  • Complete the AMO Course and perform required PMCS
  • Operate a 10K forklift in support of missions
