Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years old
  • Valid Utah Driver's License with no moving violations within the previous two years
  • No alcohol or drug-related violations on record with the Driver's License Division
  • Ability to pass Department of Transportation medical test and obtain medical card
  • Willingness to comply with CDC and OSHA PPE regulations
  • Physical ability to exert up to 100 pounds occasionally and 50 pounds frequently
  • Ability to perform fine motor tasks such as picking and typing
  • Ability to frequently communicate effectively with others
  • Willingness to perform housekeeping duties
  • Commitment to adhering to ARUP policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer skills for accurate data entry
  • Ability to understand and follow detailed instructions
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to operate company vehicles safely
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual tasks

Job Duties

  • Use company vehicles on company business
  • Quality check inbound shipments for labeling accuracy and stocking procedures
  • Perform receiving functions including labeling reagents and kits with lot numbers and expiration dates
  • Maintain quarantine areas to keep reagents isolated and stable until validation is complete
  • Quality check outbound orders for accuracy
  • Perform accurate data interpretation and input
  • Pick and pack product
  • Process packages for shipping and returns
  • Process returns
  • Conduct cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy
  • Replenish stock from back up locations
  • Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean working environment
  • Mentor junior staff on procedures
  • Other duties as assigned
