Job Requirements
- Masters degree
- Ability to obtain Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment
- Ability to obtain Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification within 30 days of employment
- Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to facilitate group therapy sessions
- Willingness to work on a PRN/per diem basis
Job Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a relevant field
- Ability to conduct therapeutic counseling using evidence-based interventions
- Experience working with psychiatric or behavioral health patients preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification required within 30 days of employment
Job Duties
- Conduct one-on-one, group, and family psychoeducational and process groups
- Develop treatment plans and attend treatment planning meetings and reviews on an ongoing basis
- Assess environment and patient’s safety status and report/respond to actual and potential safety issues or changes in the patient’s condition
- Identify risk factors, screening criteria, and interventions for patients with special precautions such as suicide, homicide, falls, elopement
- Complete assessments, group notes, and all other documentation promptly and in compliance with requirements
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to assess and coordinate patients’ discharge planning needs and readiness for discharge
- Conduct post-discharge follow-up as indicated
