Job Requirements
- Must meet all Florida state requirements to work in a licensed medical cannabis facility
- Ability to work in a production/manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, temperature changes, and cannabis products
- PPE may be required
Job Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience in chocolate, confectionery, or food production (cannabis preferred)
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety practices
- Strong attention to detail with ability to maintain dosing accuracy and product quality
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Reliable, team-oriented, and proactive with strong communication skills
- Must be at least 21 years of age and able to obtain and maintain a Florida cannabis license
Job Duties
- Prepare and produce cannabis-infused chocolates, gummies, and other confections in large batches
- Accurately follow standardized recipes and batch records to ensure consistency and proper dosing
- Operate confectionery equipment including tempering machines, molds, and depositor systems
- Monitor quality throughout production - texture, weight, appearance, and compliance
- Maintain accurate documentation for batch output, weights, labeling, and compliance records
- Support packaging and labeling of finished goods in accordance with state regulations
- Track and manage inventory of ingredients, molds, and packaging supplies
- Clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, and production areas per food safety standards
- Assist with process improvements to maximize efficiency and minimize waste
- Collaborate with team members and communicate clearly with management to meet daily production targets
