Job Requirements
- must be able to dedicate a large percentage of time to the Mets schedule including all designated games and special appearances
- healthy fitness level and ability to run every night and perform stunts while wearing costumes during summer heat
- reliable punctual and courteous
- good listening skills and ability to work with others as part of a team
- flexible schedule for nights weekends and holidays during baseball season with mandatory hours 5pm to end of night games and 11am to end of afternoon games
- comfortable and confident escorting mascots and interacting with fans ensuring mascot safety
- patience working with children and comfort in large crowds
- ability to actively fundraise for the Amazin' Mets Foundation and provide excellent customer service
- effective communication of foundation mission and programs to fans
- reliable transportation to and from ballpark
- must be 18 years of age with valid photo ID
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- perform as a mascot representing each NYC borough during all 2026 New York Mets home games at Citi Field
- engage in fan interaction including meet and greets, autograph sessions, and crowd rallies
- participate nightly as a runner during the in-game feature '5 borough Mascot Race'
- launch T-shirts and assist with crowd entertainment activities
- escort mascots throughout the ballpark ensuring mascot safety
- fundraise and provide excellent customer service on behalf of the Amazin' Mets Foundation
- communicate the foundation’s mission and programs effectively to fans
