Job Requirements

  • minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • at least two years of travel planning experience or working in a similar field
  • experience working with senior adults preferred
  • problem solving skills

  • written and verbal communication skills
  • ability to multitask and work calmly under pressure
  • experience using Microsoft Office Suite
  • valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
  • CPR/AED certified or obtain within six months of employment
  • ability to move about public transportation and remain stationary for long periods
  • ability to occasionally move on uneven ground and lift up to 25 lbs
  • ability to use keyboard and computer
  • ability to occasionally work in office and on moving public transportation

Job Qualifications

  • minimum high school diploma or GED

  • strong problem-solving, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • ability to multitask and work calmly under pressure

Job Duties

  • develop, organize, promote, and escort day and extended travel programs
  • prepare and/or proof marketing materials including brochure copy, flyers, travel articles, and promotional letters
  • negotiate contracts with vendors
  • prepare travel waivers, nametags, and organizational materials for travel programs
  • assist with the preparation of travel and special event budgets
  • maintain close contact with travel participants to ensure customer satisfaction and solicit feedback
  • attend IPRA/ANA workshops to stay current on trends and issues
  • assist at special events as assigned
  • provide a high quality of customer service in a professional manner to internal and external customers
