Job Requirements

  • Minimum five years of progressive experience in hotel or related field with supervisory experience
  • two-year college degree with three or more years of related experience or four-year college degree with at least one year of related experience
  • ability to remain composed and objective under pressure
  • compliance with Food Handlers Alcohol Awareness CPR and First Aid certifications
  • strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • capability to lead and motivate a team effectively

Job Qualifications

  • Two-year college degree with three or more years of related experience or four-year college degree with at least one year of related experience
  • minimum five years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field with supervisory experience
  • effective in handling stressful high-pressure situations while maintaining composure and objectivity

Job Duties

  • Supervise and assist in food preparation ensuring high standards of quality taste and presentation across all outlets while maintaining safety expectations
  • lead motivate coach and discipline kitchen personnel to ensure efficient and high-quality food preparation and service
  • manage food costs budgets and maximize cost/production ratios to optimize financial performance
  • maintain cleanliness sanitation and safety in the kitchen work and storage areas adhering to all health and safety regulations
  • anticipate and address issues proactively to ensure smooth kitchen operations
  • clearly convey information and resolve concerns from co-workers and guests effectively
