Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year progressive experience in a hotel or related field required
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- College coursework in hospitality or related field is a plus
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Alcohol awareness certification must comply with state regulations
- Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and demonstrate initiative
- Strong proficiency in financial tasks and arithmetic

Job Duties
- Lead the charge in setting up, servicing, and breaking down banquet events ensuring all details match the Banquet Event Orders
- Maintain high standards in team appearance, service, and safety while ensuring compliance with policies and liquor laws
- Rally the team, assign tasks, conduct pre-event meetings, and train new employees effectively
- Act as liaison between Sales, Catering, and guests, resolving issues and maintaining guest satisfaction
- Manage schedules, wage reports, inventory, and beverage service operations
- Handle checks, paperwork, and cash transactions accurately
- Assist with audiovisual equipment, attend meetings, support various operational tasks, manage lost and found items, and ensure security and integrity of sensitive areas
