Job Requirements

  • A two-year college degree with at least three years of related experience or a four-year college degree with a minimum of one year of related experience
  • Five years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field including required supervisory experience
  • Ability to handle stressful, high-pressure situations while maintaining composure and objectivity
  • Must meet certification requirements, which may include Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR, and First Aid

Job Duties

  • Supervise and assist in food preparation, ensuring high standards of quality, taste, and presentation across all outlets while maintaining safety expectations
  • Lead, motivate, coach, and discipline kitchen personnel to ensure efficient and high-quality food preparation and service
  • Manage food costs, budgets, and maximize cost/production ratios to optimize financial performance
  • Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and safety in the kitchen, work, and storage areas, adhering to all health and safety regulations
  • Anticipate and address issues proactively to ensure smooth kitchen operations
  • Clearly convey information and resolve concerns from co-workers and guests effectively
