  • Food Handlers Certification as per state requirements
  • Ability to communicate clearly
  • Ability to quickly evaluate and decide best course of action
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Maintain composure and objectivity
  • Experience in hotel or related food service field preferred

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field preferred
  • Food Handlers Certification compliant with state requirements
  • Ability to convey information and ideas clearly
  • Ability to evaluate and select among alternative actions quickly and accurately
  • Ability to work well in high pressure and stressful situations
  • Maintain composure and objectivity under pressure

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook all food items based on standardized recipes
  • Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and safety in kitchen and work areas
  • Minimize waste and maximize cost and production ratio
  • Prepare food for Banquets and Catering functions following specifications
  • Work banquet food station as scheduled
  • Maintain knowledge of menus and proper food preparation
  • Operate and maintain cleanliness of all kitchen equipment
