Job Requirements
- Must have a two-year college degree or four-year college degree with appropriate experience
- At least three years of related culinary experience preferably in a hotel setting
- Five years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field including supervisory roles
- Ability to manage high-pressure situations calmly and objectively
- Must hold relevant certifications such as Food Handlers Alcohol Awareness CPR and First Aid
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strong financial management capabilities
Job Qualifications
- A two-year college degree with at least three years of related experience or a four-year college degree with a minimum of one year of related experience
- Five years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field including required supervisory experience
- Ability to handle stressful high-pressure situations while maintaining composure and objectivity
- Must meet certification requirements which may include Food Handlers Alcohol Awareness CPR and First Aid
Job Duties
- Supervise and assist in food preparation ensuring high standards of quality taste and presentation across all outlets while maintaining safety expectations
- Lead motivate coach and discipline kitchen personnel to ensure efficient and high-quality food preparation and service
- Manage food costs budgets and maximize cost production ratios to optimize financial performance
- Maintain cleanliness sanitation and safety in the kitchen work and storage areas adhering to all health and safety regulations
- Anticipate and address issues proactively to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Clearly convey information and resolve concerns from co-workers and guests effectively
