Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in hotel or related field
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • Alcohol Awareness Certification as per state laws
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Proficiency in financial and inventory management

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year progressive experience in a hotel or catering environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • College coursework in hospitality or related field is a plus
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred
  • Alcohol Awareness Certification compliant with state regulations
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to perform well under pressure with initiative
  • Strong proficiency in financial tasks and arithmetic

Job Duties

  • Lead the charge in setting up, servicing, and breaking down banquet events ensuring all details match the Banquet Event Orders
  • Maintain high standards of appearance, service, and safety while enforcing policy and liquor law compliance
  • Rally the banquet team, assign tasks, conduct pre-event huddles, and train new staff
  • Serve as liaison between Sales, Catering, and guests, resolving issues and managing complaints effectively
  • Manage schedules, wage reports, inventory, and oversee beverage service including cash handling and paperwork
  • Assist with audio/visual support, attend meetings, handle lost and found, and secure sensitive areas representing the company with integrity
