Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year experience in hotel or related field
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Alcohol Awareness Certification as per state laws
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work under pressure
- Proficiency in financial and inventory management
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year progressive experience in a hotel or catering environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- College coursework in hospitality or related field is a plus
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Alcohol Awareness Certification compliant with state regulations
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to perform well under pressure with initiative
- Strong proficiency in financial tasks and arithmetic
Job Duties
- Lead the charge in setting up, servicing, and breaking down banquet events ensuring all details match the Banquet Event Orders
- Maintain high standards of appearance, service, and safety while enforcing policy and liquor law compliance
- Rally the banquet team, assign tasks, conduct pre-event huddles, and train new staff
- Serve as liaison between Sales, Catering, and guests, resolving issues and managing complaints effectively
- Manage schedules, wage reports, inventory, and oversee beverage service including cash handling and paperwork
- Assist with audio/visual support, attend meetings, handle lost and found, and secure sensitive areas representing the company with integrity
