Job Requirements

  • Lift and/or move up to approximately 50 pounds frequently
  • Bending, stooping, kneeling required frequently
  • Routine standing for duration of shift
  • Safely maneuver hand cart, blenders, knives, slicers, wine keys and other kitchen tools
  • Scheduled shifts determined by business needs
  • Must be able to work in a physically demanding kitchen environment
  • Availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in culinary leadership or kitchen management
  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety standards
  • Ability to train and mentor kitchen staff effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to manage kitchen operations and expenses
  • Familiarity with federal, state, and local safety and sanitation laws
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Job Duties

  • Deliver exceptional culinary experiences while following company policies, procedures, and standards
  • Lead and motivate kitchen team members by promoting learning, proper cooking techniques, knife skills, time management, and accountability
  • Enforce safety and sanitation programs according to federal, state, and local laws for the restaurant, employees, and guests
  • Manage kitchen expenses ensuring budgetary compliance as requested
  • Foster a positive and nurturing environment to support team success
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Maintain inventory and order supplies to support kitchen operations
