Job Requirements
- Must meet minimum age for preparing and serving alcoholic beverages
- high school diploma or GED
- 1+ year bartending or related experience
- prior guest service experience
- current food handler’s card
- alcohol service certification
- aptitude and enthusiasm for product knowledge
- ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds frequently
- ability to bend/stoop/kneel frequently
- ability to climb ladders occasionally
- ability to stand for up to 8 hours
- ability to work varied hours including nights, weekends and holidays
- willingness to travel for training and assisting other locations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1+ year of bartending or related experience in a full-service restaurant
- prior guest service experience
- current food handler’s card
- alcohol service certification as required by federal/state/local law
- enthusiasm to learn about all Tommy Bahama products
Job Duties
- Create a relaxed destination by greeting guests with a friendly smile and personalized service
- possess complete knowledge of all food and beverage menus including ingredients and preparation methods
- complete all retail product knowledge courses and participate in training sessions
- practice proper cash handling and operate point-of-sale system
- maintain a clean, sanitary and safe environment for team members and guests
- maintain proper stock levels including inventory control and ordering of perishables and spirits
- verify proper government-issued identification of guests when alcohol is ordered as required by law
- adhere to company and location policies and procedures
- perform other duties as required to support the business
