Job Requirements

  • Must meet minimum age for preparing and serving alcoholic beverages
  • high school diploma or GED
  • 1+ year bartending or related experience
  • prior guest service experience
  • current food handler’s card
  • alcohol service certification
  • aptitude and enthusiasm for product knowledge
  • ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds frequently
  • ability to bend/stoop/kneel frequently
  • ability to climb ladders occasionally
  • ability to stand for up to 8 hours
  • ability to work varied hours including nights, weekends and holidays
  • willingness to travel for training and assisting other locations

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1+ year of bartending or related experience in a full-service restaurant
  • prior guest service experience
  • current food handler’s card
  • alcohol service certification as required by federal/state/local law
  • enthusiasm to learn about all Tommy Bahama products

Job Duties

  • Create a relaxed destination by greeting guests with a friendly smile and personalized service
  • possess complete knowledge of all food and beverage menus including ingredients and preparation methods
  • complete all retail product knowledge courses and participate in training sessions
  • practice proper cash handling and operate point-of-sale system
  • maintain a clean, sanitary and safe environment for team members and guests
  • maintain proper stock levels including inventory control and ordering of perishables and spirits
  • verify proper government-issued identification of guests when alcohol is ordered as required by law
  • adhere to company and location policies and procedures
  • perform other duties as required to support the business
