Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Generally 3 years of food and beverage experience with some leadership experience preferred
- Current food handler's card
- Alcohol service certification as required by federal or state or local law
- Familiarity with OpenTable reservation system preferred
- Ability to work varied shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
- Basic math skills
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds frequently
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel frequently
- Ability to climb ladders occasionally
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours during shifts
- Possible travel for training and assisting other locations
Job Qualifications

- Minimum of 3 years of food and beverage experience with leadership preferred
- Current food handler's card
- Alcohol service certification as required by law
- Familiarity with OpenTable reservation system preferred
- Basic math skills

Job Duties
- Assist in creating a learning and nurturing environment for team members that promotes sales and service success and career growth
- Assist the Marlin Bar Manager with recruitment and hiring strategies
- Maintain appropriate staff levels
- Hire, orient, train, coach, and provide performance feedback
- Facilitate company training programs and monitor performance
- Practice proactive performance management in partnership with Regional Manager and HR
- Manage restaurant expenses ensuring budget compliance
- Ensure consistent execution of company policies and procedures
- Develop and streamline Marlin Bar processes
- Communicate the Tommy Bahama lifestyle through brand execution
- Ensure employee appearance reflects brand image
- Manage upkeep of kitchen, bar, and exterior areas
- Embrace and articulate Tommy Bahama culture and core values
- Handle cash and operate point-of-sale system
- Possess knowledge and enforcement of food and beverage menus and hospitality standards
- Practice food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Interact with guests and cultivate community relationships
- Perform other duties as assigned
