Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Generally three years of food and beverage experience with some leadership experience preferred
- Must have current food handler's card and alcohol service certification as required by federal state or local law
- Familiarity with Open Table reservation systems preferred
- Ability to work schedule shifts determined by business needs which may include nights weekends and holidays
- Basic math skills
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office

Job Duties
- Assist in creating a learning and nurturing environment for team members that promotes sales and service success and internal career growth
- Assist the Marlin Bar Manager to develop and implement strategies to increase qualified applicants including proactively recruiting
- Maintain appropriate staff levels
- Hire qualified people and effectively orient new employees setting clear performance expectations training coaching and providing constructive feedback
- Facilitate implementation of company learning and training programs follow-up and monitor performance to ensure transfer of learned skills on the job
- Practice proactive performance management in partnership with Regional Manager and HR to ensure adherence to employment policies and procedures
- Manage individual restaurant expenses ensuring budgetary compliance
