Job Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required
- Must be 18 years or older
- Minimum three years of food and beverage experience with some leadership preferred
- Current food handler's card and alcohol service certification as required by federal state or local law
- Familiarity with Open Table reservation system preferred
- Ability to work shifts including nights weekends and holidays
- Basic math skills
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Physical ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds frequently
- Ability to bend stoop and kneel frequently
- Ability to climb ladders occasionally
- Ability to stand for up to eight hours
- Willingness to travel for training and assisting other locations
- Flexibility to work varied hours and days including nights weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Three years of food and beverage experience preferred with some leadership experience
- Current food handler's card
- Alcohol service certification as required by law
- Familiarity with Open Table reservation systems preferred

Job Duties
- Assist in creating a learning and nurturing environment for team members that promotes sales and service success and internal career growth
- Assist the Marlin Bar Manager to develop and implement recruitment strategies including proactive hiring
- Maintain appropriate staff levels
- Hire qualified people and provide effective orientation, training, coaching, and performance feedback
- Facilitate implementation of company learning and training programs and monitor performance
- Practice proactive performance management with Regional Manager and HR to ensure policy adherence
- Assist employees with career development strategies to improve retention and bench strength
- Manage individual restaurant expenses ensuring budgetary compliance
- Ensure consistent execution of company policies and procedures
- Develop and streamline restaurant processes in partnership with the manager
- Communicate the Tommy Bahama lifestyle through brand execution
- Manage employee appearance to reflect brand image
- Oversee kitchen, bar, and restaurant exterior upkeep
- Embrace and promote Tommy Bahama culture and core values
- Enforce food and beverage menu knowledge and hospitality standards
- Interact with guests and cultivate community relationships
- Practice proper cash handling and POS system operation
- Ensure food handling, safety, and sanitation compliance
- Perform other assigned duties
