Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Generally, 3 years of food and beverage experience with some leadership preferred
- Must have current food handler's card and alcohol service certification as required by law
- Familiarity with Open Table reservation system preferred
- Ability to work schedule shifts determined by business needs including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic math skills
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds frequently
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel frequently
- Ability to climb ladders occasionally
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours during shifts
- Possible travel for training and assisting at other locations
- Ability to maintain Tommy Bahama culture and values
- Be receptive to feedback and coaching
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Assist in creating a learning and nurturing environment for team members
- Assist the Marlin Bar Manager to develop and implement recruitment strategies
- Maintain appropriate staff levels
- Hire, orient, train, coach, and provide constructive feedback
- Facilitate implementation of company training programs and monitor performance
- Practice proactive performance management with Regional Manager and HR
- Assist with career development strategies to improve retention
- Manage restaurant expenses ensuring budget compliance
- Ensure consistent execution of company policies and procedures
- Develop and streamline Marlin Bar processes in partnership with the manager
- Communicate Tommy Bahama lifestyle through brand execution
- Ensure employee appearance reflects the brand image
- Manage upkeep of kitchen, bar, and exterior areas
- Embrace and reflect the Tommy Bahama culture and core values
- Interact with guests and cultivate authentic community relationships
- Practice proper cash handling and operate point-of-sale systems
- Be proficient in food handling, safety and sanitation guidelines
- Perform other duties as assigned
